Welcome to Bethlehem College, a Sydney Archdiocesan Catholic System school for young women established by the Sisters of Charity in 1881 located in the culturally diverse Inner West suburb of Ashfield.
As a community of learners, we foster confident and independent young women of faith, who are creative and collaborative thinkers, sharing a love of learning and striving for excellence. They are courageous in mind and deed and are global citizens with a genuine concern for others. The College Motto, ‘Este Fideles’ (Be faithful) is lived out as we strive to be faithful to God, ourselves and to others.
Our school is recognised for offering a broad, contemporary and relevant curriculum that caters for young women with diverse learning needs including: a Gifted and Talented stream, acceleration, enrichment programs, Learning Support, EAL/D (English as a Second Language or Dialect) and Vocational Education programs.
We offer a safe and supportive environment where the pastoral care of our students is fundamental to our approaches to teaching and learning. Through our “Take 5 framework” we strive to nurture the ongoing development of the whole person by collaboratively supporting academic, emotional, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing.
The significant spiritual, sporting and co-curricular life of the College is designed to maximise student opportunities to contribute in meaningful ways to the life of the College and to the wider community.
I invite you to journey through our website to discover the many opportunities that await your daughter at Bethlehem College. Enrolments are accepted throughout the year and tours are available on request.
