Bethlehem Day was celebrated at the College Friday June 30.
This day is when we reflect on the great work of the Sisters of Charity who founded Bethlehem College. The day began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr Alan Gibson. A highlight was the traditional Bethlehem Day address delivered by ex-student Sue Soueid who spoke about how her time at the College impacted greatly on her career and personal journey. The community also learned about the beneficiary of our fundraising activities for the remainder of the day- Sisters of Charity Outreach- the Safe Haven Project which provides support services for women and children fleeing domestic violence. During the remainder of the day the students and staff participated in a fantastic carnival of food and fun concluding the day with a talent quest.
